What is this thing called hemroids? The answer is that hemroids are enlarged blood vessels, essentially veins which get engorged due to some infectious condition or the other. Hemroids develop when blood clots in the vein of the anus which then makes the vein swell and gives pain to the person having it. This is not a life-threatening condition since there has not been a known report of somebody dying from it. However, you may be hindered from performing your normal day to day activities by the irritation that this problem may bring.
