Matt Smith as 11th Doctor

A lot of people are intrigued who the Eleventh Doctor is. Well, BBC UK has announced that Matt Smith will be replacing David Tennant on the shows Season 5.

There are already 10 actors who played the Doctor and to distinguish them from one another they are numbered from First to Tenth. Now that the Eleventh Doctor is here fans will surely be waiting on him. Even other countries are already tuning in to UK’s popular TV series Doctor Who.

Actually, in the US they have already created an American version of the Doctor Who comics and thanks to Marvel for doing so. And some of the videos have also been shipped to several Asian countries.

The show’s fan already knows who the Eleventh Doctor is and that is Matt Smith. Smith is 26 years old and the youngest actor to play the lead role.

Though, as excited as the fans is, they are also sad because the current Doctor David Tennant had to leave the show. After he announced that he has to leave the show, fans started to posts blogs and comments about him leaving. Though, changes need to happen and this can make the show even exciting and can also lead to something bad.

Changes happen for a reason and even though most of the fans of Doctor Who are not happy about it, they have to accept it. On the other hand, the fans are also excited to see Matt Smith take on the role.

Since, Doctor Who Season 4 is already over, it does not mean that fans will not see David Tennant anymore. He will still appear on the special episodes coming later this year and the coming year.

So, this is not still goodbye for David T.s fans but it will definitely be a welcome for the Eleventh Doctor. There is much to expect since the writers promised that they will give the audience a spectacular ending for David T.
